I see some new faces over here that I might not recognize over on the main GenCon forums site so I thought I would post this link here if you don't go there to see what we're up to this year. Any questions/corrections/addendums/praise/adoration/snark/etc., feel free to throw my way.

We unfortunately do not use these boards near like we should-- we usually all meet on the GC boards--

We have a private board that you can have access to if you meet 2 criteria:
must be female
must be 18 years of age
must have 10 posts on the GC forums anywhere

I wish I had seen this before the Con I would have got a personalized one.

I did get lucky thought I managed to get one I guess I had good timing.

The Gamer Wenches is a group dedicated to encouraging and welcoming more females into the world of gaming.

Requirements for membership:

Must be a female in real life and have a 10 posts on the GC boards.
Must be at least 18, though we will accept those 16 or 17 with parental sponsor.
Must have at least 10 posts on the GenCon forums.

Must respect ALL Wenches. No exceptions! We won't tolerate disrespect of any other Wench.

That's it! Fit the qualifications? Come join us!

As for your field research, there are many ways to get that accomplished. I recommend gaming with us on Wednesday night at GenCon. I believe it was Plato who said that you can learn more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. That definitely holds true with the Wenches.
